Heartland Senior Living “Assisted Living” is the ideal solution for seniors who value their independence, yet need assistance with daily activities. We are proud to offer a unique solution for residents with our tiered levels of care. Heartland staff members are available 24 hours a day for help with bathing, dressing, incontinence, medications, meals or other daily activities. Our residents have the freedom of their own living space with the addition of 24 hour staff. In addition, an emergency call system is provided. Our staff is trained to provide quality care while remaining as non-intrusive as possible.

Specially Designed Rooms

Heartland Assisted Living residents enjoy living spaces specifically designed for comfort and safety, with a choice of three attractive floor plans to fit a variety of individual preferences. The layout of Heartland Assisted Living resembles that of a private home.  The short hallways open into the main area with large, sunlit windows surrounding a large living room that includes a sitting area with a fireplace, open dining room and a gathering area for watching TV or playing games. Each floor has a covered patio where residents enjoy spending time taking in the lovely views. Residents are encouraged to bring photos and familiar furnishings to decorate the space and create conversation pieces.

Private Studio Suites

Private rooms feature a bathroom and living area with closet and a large, sunlit window.  Dining, kitchen, and great room access is within a short distance of each room.

Adjoining Suites

Adjoining Private Rooms are slightly larger and designed for couples who may choose to utilize a living space and bedroom or enjoy the convenience of being in close proximity to their spouse. These rooms feature private bathrooms and a bedroom with a large closet. Large windows allow for beautiful views of the landscape that surrounds Sandstone.

Double Room Suites

Double Room Suites are the largest units available and are quite spacious! Suites are similar to an apartment and feature a large bedroom, private bath with shower, living area, and kitchenette. Several windows allow for views of the surrounding hills and/or neighborhood.

Health Care

Heartland Assisted Living caregivers (licensed nurses, registered dietician, certified nursing assistants and certified medication aides) monitor residents to ensure the services we provide are meeting their individual needs.  Our care team communicates with the resident’s physician and responsible party regarding changes in condition.  We coordinate transportation to and from medical appoint­ments as needed.  Additionally, medical providers and therapists visit Heartland Assisted Living frequently to ensure residents receive the care they need.
